Dr Ong Kian Chung

Dr Ong Kian Chung is a specialist in Respiratory Medicine who is presently in private practice at the Chestmed Clinic, Mount Elizabeth Medical Centre, Singapore.

Among Dr Ong's clinical achievements are the establishment of treatment modalities such as Pulmonary Rehabilitation, Non-invasive Ventilation and Home Care services for patients with chronic respiratory disorders in Singapore.

Dr Ong is the founding President of the Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease Association (Singapore) and is a member of the Global Initiative for Chronic Obstructive Lung Disease (GOLD) Assembly. Since 2022, Dr Ong is also a member of the Ministry of Health (MOH) ACE Consumer Panel, which plays an important role in providing strategic advice to MOH advisory committees on opportunities to strengthen engagement efforts which meet the needs of patients, carers, and the public.
